The cowboys won last night.. they kicked the crap out of the hated Philadelphia Eagles, for the 2nd week in a row.  If the Cowboys don’t win another game, the season will feel good – they ended with 2 straight ass-kickings over the Eagles, nee Birds. Some bile:

• Andy Reid got outcoached.. thoroughly
• McNabb – he looked terrible, again.  He wasn’t accurate and barely escaped
• Turnovers – the Eagles kept choking up the ball
• DeSean Jackson is a punk.  And now he has the off-season to stew on another week of getting shut down by the Cowboys
• DeMarcus Ware and Anthony Spencer were awesome.. all over the place
• Jason Garrett is back.  He made the right call each and every time

I’m not smart enough to make predictions, but here’s what I’m looking for in 2010:

• Greater ease to access all my media.  I have GBs of video, music, and pictures, but want to be able to get it all, anywhere or any time.  Not just on my iPod or on my iMac.  I want to view it from any computer, any TV, any handheld, from anywhere I can get bandwidth
• I’d love to see DHCP get faster!  Why does it take 10 seconds to make DHCP go faster?
• More “old” media consolidate, make big leaps forward or die.
• Stalwarts like AOL and Yahoo! need to get focused on exciting and interesting business strategies
• Mack’s will go to Ramah in Ojai,CA for camp this summer, that should be cool
• I’ll probably check-in at 1,000 Foursquare places – I’m addicted
• Maybe a few good movies.. Wall Street 2?  Will Aviva like Sex & The City 2?
• Aviva turns 40.. I have 11.5 months to think of a great present(s)..
• A number of family trips, but I can’t publish them, we want them to be secrets for the kids
• Another Saw movie.  Oh wait, I can live without that one
• A few more botched WordPress upgrades by me
• I’ll guess I’ll get in 60k miles on United.  I did over 80k in 2009, so think that may go down a little.  We’ll see
• The car!  I’m not in it that often, but it’s lacking.  My NAV system bites compared to Google Maps.  I can’t time-shift anything from Sirius/XM.. I can’t easily listen to podcasts.  I can’t get web content (reviews, etc).  My car is a black hole.  Listening to my iPod is not a solution.

2009 was an adventure, but we’re happily now settled in Cali..

I finally broke down and got myself a new set of Nike sneakers and a Nike+ for my (ok, Mack’s) iPod. I always wanted one, and when we were at the Nike store downtown a few weeks ago and I could get properly fitted, I made the bold move. My review is short, I love it. I love all the tracking I get, it truly has made me more goal oriented in my running. Instead of just running to, “get some miles in” or “some exercise.” I’m now trying to get to distances and speeds. My new goal is 4 miles and to try and more than 1-2 miles below 10:00 minutes. Even better, it lets me store and track all my runs on a Nike server, and I can even share it all.. So, here you go.

We moved to Cali in the middle of the Denver Jewish Softball League (DJSL), but my team finished the season without me and won!  And I was part of the prior 3 years of championships, which is way cool.  The team and my buddy, Seth Davis, hooked me up with a ring!  Check out the fine craftsmanship and uber tacky giant sized object that it is!  It fits my thumb.

One cool thing about our new house, which we move into in over a month, is that it’s 4 miles to my office, by bike!  I probably need to, otherwise I’ll really feel like a dolt.  But, the good side is that Google donates $5 to a charity of my choosing for each day I self-powered commute – pretty cool.

Michael Douglas to Star in Wall Street 2.  I loved this movie when it first came out, I saw it in Florida and still surprised I didn’t run to Wall Street that night and beg for a job.  A good thing I didn’t, I think I would have been a crappy stockbroker/salesman.  But the movie was awesome and I hope the sequel is good.  Shia LaBeouf is a pansy, so that part makes me nervous.  Where’s Charlie Sheen?  Darryl Hannah?

The New Improved “Gun 6000″.  I played with this at the gym this weekend, shot 27 for 60 and loved this machine.. I was running, shooting, and even hitting some baskets..
