A Zemanta Test

A softball.

I installed this new plug-in, http://www.zemanta.com/download/firefox/, which is supposed to help me make better blog posts (as if that were possible!).  The more I type about my blog topic, the more it suggests articles and pictures.. some boring happenings that may help it:

  • I shopped at Jos A. Bank for the  first time - I loved their ties and bought 2 - as well as some shirts, pair of pants, and 2 sport coats
  • We won at softball today!
  • After 6 pages of pictures and a handful of articles - none really excite me (suggested ones from the blog engine)
  • I need to ease up on adding widgets to my new wordpress blog - I may add one or two more, but I also may need to whack a few that are just not worthy..
  • The picture came from the Zemanta suggestion

OK, good enough for now..

Electric greenish

Google, my own humble employer, promoting plug-in cars and trucks..

I’m running out of time for this box

In 2 months, I’ll need to move down a box, or radio button in this case. I’ll need some time to adjust.. maybe I should skip surveys and forms for a while..

The crisis with packaging

I opened up a new screwdriver set I bought from Lowe’s this past weekend, and even though I have an OpenX, specially made for opening “blister” packs, I still ripped up my knuckles, they even bled.

c|net has a piece today - hoping the end is near for these awful devices.

Another layer of green..

We’re going to try out yet another way to increase our going green - a discrete retractable clothesline!  We got it at Lowe’s for like $25.. But when I watch the electric meter go nuts, the dryer is one of the worst culprits.  I’m sure our HOA is no fan of clotheslines, but it’s in a hidden spot, that gets sun and is retractable, so we can keep it low-key.

Let’s try something different

Anyone who knows me at all, probably knows - I have bad allergies.  My dear wife is trying to help me with a tried and true remedy - a Neti Pot.

I tried it this AM - only a few minutes ago, it wasn’t a wonderful feeling, but if it dries me up, I’ll take it!
