dasBlog has been very very good to me.. and even some kind help from one of it’s developers (thanks JF!)… but I’m feeling the itch to try something new, and something I may have a shot at being able to hack under the covers a little.. in short, i’m moving to wordpress. the blog is up and running, and i’ll work hard on some sort of way to migrate the content (it may not be easy or pretty).
feel free to preview.. it have a few junky test posts, but i do like to experiment. what it came down to was that wordpress has a very vibrant community of developers – themes, widgets, hacks, and most important of all – supporters. when i’ve hit a snag in the setup, i google my problem and find a slew of people with solutions.. it’s really great to see.
