As just a consumer, I was getting real tired of their crappy software.. Seemingly daily, Outlook crashes in the middle of a long email – they want us to spend all day in ms office, yet can’t make it reliable enough to work for more than a few hours. Windows is now relegated to a 5 year old version (xp), the current stuff (vista) is unusable for work and not much more than that. I find myself building a mac for myself on apple.com now on a weekly basis, the notion I’d buy a mac is very real. I can always run parallels for the work stuff that has to be on windows. But I’m taking it more than that!
- I’m weaning myself off msnbc and moving to cnn.com as much as i can
- not that i ever used it, but i’m done with hotmail.com, live.com and all that msn crap – and you should be too
- microsoft is out to stop google, and while i’m ok with that, their methods are just sickening. read up on all their propaganda, looking to give themselves some training wheels to compete. since when do they want to see healthy competition?!!?
- i’m using google docs as much as i can, not 100%, but hey, i’m trying
- i don’t use any of their media software, windows media player, no zune’s, nothing to support their proprietary slant on my already hated DRM
- we do have an xbox 360, but we’re looking for a wii, and if it weren’t so costly to upgrade to a PS/3, trust me, i would.
i’ll keep looking for their stuff, to get rid of it.
