We still miss Cookie, but were anxious to get a new dog, so went to the Dumb Friends League yesterday and got a new one! We looked at a few, but after they brought one to us, we knew it was meant for us. Today he’s getting fixed (not broken kind, the neutering kind) and we’ll pick him in about 2 hours. I took some pictures of our introduction to him yesterday. 
. His given name was “Buster,” but that’s new to him, he was a lost & found dog. After debating names such as snowball, trot, and the like, my mom had the winning name, “Tater!” The kids love it, and we do too. He’ll be home in a few hours, we’re psyched! He’s a Bichon/Poodle mix and as cute as the dickens!
