I’m lucky enough to get all my local channels in HD living in Denver.. but there are many folks who can’t, because they live too far from downtown (the location of the current antenna). The town is lucky enough to have an idea place for a new antenna that would allow all of Colorado Springs, Denver, and Fort Collins to enjoy wonderful HDTV for our local channels, over the the air and free!
Unfortunately, the town of Golden is where this ideal new location is, and the locals don’t want it in their backyard and are making quite a stink to prevent it. Today’s Boulder Camera has a good op-ed on this issue.
